Thailand – The
land of smiles is home to many dishes in which the main ingredients are rice,
fish and fruits. Rice is the mainstay of Thai meals, long grain Jasmine Rice,
mostly steamed, with the traditions and rituals of its cultivation. The ideal
Thai meal is a harmonious blend of the spicy, sweet, hot, crisp and sour tastes
that are meant to be satisfying to the eye, nose and palate!
India – In India,
the word curry refers to a sauce or gravy cooked usually with fresh vegetables,
meat, poultry and fish, varied in consistency which can be thick or thin. The
secret of Indian cooking lies in the use of fragrant spices and blending spices
to different curry which is used as an accompaniment to moisten grains (rice)
or rotis (bread) and make it more enjoyable!
